PhotoFast Firmware Update Tool
Firmware Release Note:
– Fixed some device firmware may reset randomly, causing the USB drive to be unrecognized by iOS or PC/MAC computers.
This Firmware Update Tool supports the following PhotoFast products only:
– PhotoFast MAX USB 3.0 / V2 (firmware: 1722)
– PhotoFast MAX Hello Kitty U3 (firmware: 1727)
– MemoriesCable U3 (firmware: 2005)
– MemoriesCable GEN 3 (firmware: 2016)
– Photo Backup Cable (firmware: 2008)
– Hello Kitty Photo Backup Cable (firmware: 2017)
And the following Gigastone product:
– IF-6600 (firmware: 1724/1729)
How to check the firmware of your PhotoFast product?
1. Connect the PhotoFast product to iPhone/iPad
2. Go to “iOS Settings > General > About > scroll to the bottom and select the connected PhotoFast product > Firmware Version”
Important:
1. DO NOT use this tool if the product/firmware is not in the list above, as it may damage the drive!
2. Backup the data on the PhotoFast device before proceeding with the firmware update process.
3. Read the “Firmware Update Instruction” first.
